& History Before the game was released in North America I applied for a few characters ahead of time in order to get my hands on a few: Ike being one of them. Now I'm really glad I applied for Ike as he has become my absolute favorite character in the whole game and my second top bishounen (second only to Link). His devotion to the Greil Mercenaries is inspiring and I just can't help but admire him. Even after the death of his father he is able to take command of the mercenaries and prove to be an incredible leader. And that's something not everyone can do. Because I didn't know much about Ike at the time I was approved for his fanlisting I had decided to call it aniki. Now if you are unfarmiliar with Japanese it means elder brother as that was what he was to Mist. After getting the game and learning more about Ike's character I changed the name and made the site double as a shrine. The name I had chosen was chikara. Yet another Japanese title but this one fit Ike much better than the last one. If you didn't know chikara means strength and boy does Ike have it, lol.
